An kinetoscope is an early motion-picture device in which the images were viewed through a peephole. This was invented by Thomas Edison.
Who is Lumière Brothers ?
Auguste and Louis Lumiere both were french manufacturers of photography equipment. Their famous work called Cinématographe which mean an early motion-picture camera. However the Lumière work is spread over years:
- They created the film called La Sortie des ouvriers de l’usine Lumière in 1895, which mean the worker leaving the Lumière factory as first motion picture.
- In 1894, they producing 15 million plates a year
- His father was invited by a Thomas Edison to show their kinetoscope
- In 28 December 1895, showed the Grand Café on the boulevard des Capucines in Paris as the beginning of cinema history .
- Their project at 16 frames per second for photographing.
- They presented the first a film of the French Photographic Society Conference
- In 1896, they sent a trained crew of innovative cameraman-projectionists throughout the world
